Mayfair – When I went to StreetXO for the first time I thought it’s the most innovative place in London at the moment, first of all for the gastronomic experience but also for the unusual dishes, cutlery and glasses for cocktails.

The chef behind this new concept is the Michelin-starred David Munoz, who has other restaurants in Madrid, too.

Canton-Galicia-Mexico: galician grilled octopus, tomatillo and green apple mole with creamy yuzu potato bonbons
Pad Thai XO style
La Pedroche’ Croquettes

The cuisine, that is excellent, ranges on various specialities of different countries revised in a very original way, like the XO Paella that, actually, is a Japanese nigiri made of paella rice!!

XO Paella (Niguiri Socarrat)
Apple Tiradito
XO Sandwich: steamed club sandwich with suckling pig, ricotta, quail egg and chili mayonnaise
XO Beef Taco
Dessert
Chocolate Ice Cream

Cocktails are nice and unconventional but not superb as the food, so I would recommend StreetXO more to have a great dinner in a cool place, than to go just for drinks.
